A heartfelt thank you to Wood Lane School staff retiring this month

Those who know Wood Lane School staff Deb Winkle and Donna Lucas are aware that today is the last day of employment for them before moving on to what we hope is well-deserved happiness and new adventures to spend with family and friends. The two woman have served as an anchor for so many over the years.
We also want to recognized classroom assistants Randye Kreischer, Sue Vandall, and Diane Theis for their service to Wood Lane School. Their retirement ventures began at the end of this school year. It has also been such a blessing to work, joke, laugh, and sometimes shed a tear or two with them.
I have been honored work work with them over my career as a teacher, Special Olympics coordinator, volunteer coordinator, and public relations coordinator. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to witness the difference they have made for children with disabilities, their families and care providers, staff, volunteers, and future professionals .
Words cannot express the emotions we all feel as they move on -Thank you for being a part of the journey!
